Removal and Installation
1.
Remove the engine cover.
2.
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
3.
Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly.
Tightening torque
Hose clamp bolt:
2.9 ~ 4.9N.m (0.3 ~ 0.5kgf.m, 2.2 ~ 3.6lb-ft)
Air cleaner assembly bolts:
7.8 ~ 9.8N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2lb-ft)

Remove the air duct (A).

(2)
Disconnect the breather hose (A) and air intake hose (B).
(3)
Remove the air cleaner assembly (C).

4.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Air Cleaner Element
1.
Open the air cleaner cover by unhooking the clamps.

2.
Replace the air cleaner element (A) with a new one.

  
If there are foreign substances inside the air cleaner assembly, wipe the inside of the air cleaner assembly and then replace the air cleaner element.
3.
Close the air cleaner cover by hooking the clamps.
Resonator
1.
Remove the front bumper cover.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - “Front Bumper Cover”)
2.
Remove the resonator (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:
7.8 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.8~ 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)

3.
Install in reverse order of removal.
